Studio Watercolour - Redesign a book cover

What's better, for a watercolour workshop, than illustrating your favourite book? Good news: that's exactly the plan for that day.

Bring your favourite book, share your passion for the story it tells, and illustrate it. I teach you how to do a real graphic research, from the idea to the illustration.

The hardest part in watercolour is the patience between layers. We'll see together how this patience actually helps you give perspective to your paintings.

We'll also share our stories, each one theirs, and what we love in literature.

In short, we're going to enjoy ourselves, without overthinking and without pressure of result. You'll leave with a bellyband made to measure for your favourite book: remember to bring your physical book, it's essential to adjust it to the right size and to be able to display it at home, like in a bookshop.

Bring nothing else than your book, and your favourite brushes if you have some.

Practical info: €20 · Friday 25 September · 6:30pm to 8:30pm · all levels welcome, in English · Unity Bookshop – Ixelles.
