Feeling Watched? Pt 3. Sequences of surveillance

In part three of FEELING WATCHED? will focus on sequences, algorithms and patterns.

First, we will have a free discussion. From facial recognition to surveillance of personal data, we will dig into these technologies and the ways they're used to profile, categorise and control.

Then we will draw and redraw, exploring how the unsteady connection from eye to hands fails to reproduce perfect copies and categories. We will explore how best to represent these more intangible forms of surveillance, asking whether drawing can uncover that which can't be revealed by data.

Nota Bene: You are more than welcome to attend this session of “Feeling watched?” even if you did not experienced the first two sessions, those are linked but not consecutive.

The findings from FEELING WATCHED? Will be collected into a series of zines.
